How to Fix
Xbox 360 Red Lights From Your Xbox 360
For
Good
When your Xbox starts to
display a series of 3 flashing red lights at the
front of your console, it is sending a very clear
signal to you that your system needs
immediate repairs.
Specifically, it is stating that the
system has overheated and has caused an internal
hardware error. This is how the Xbox
360 Red Rings of Death (RROD)
results.
The Red Ring of Death is a common
error amongst the Xbox 360 community. This brings forth
questions regarding what an Xbox owner can do to fix xbox
360 red lights permanently.
Many people will immediately assume that
sending their system into the manufacturer is the only
way to repair their system. This however is highly
advised against, and you can find out why here.
The way that I have learned
to fix
Xbox 360 red lights myself was by the use of an Xbox
360 repair guide. The method outlined in this guide
taught me the actual repair for the RROD in
a simple process that I was able to follow
step-by-step through a repair video.

The key to the
making the repair to your system involves
disassembling your console and making a small adjustment
to the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) the Central
Processing Unit (CPU), and to the Heat Sinks
which are supposed to protect the GPU and CPU. The
GPU and CPU are two important computer chips
that need to be working properly in order for
your system to run itself. The problem here is that these
important computer chips aren't protected very
well which means they are vulnerable to heat. Once
these chips are exposed to heat you get the
RROD.
In order to fix this
problem these chips must be properly protected using
a thermal compund that has a high heat tolerance. with a
new, more reliable substance this will reinforce the GPU
and CPU's protection making them invulnerable
to heat. Next the heat sinks need to be fixed.
Basically when the console gets too hot the heat sinks
are thrown off balance where they fail to protect the GPU
and CPU and leave them directly open to heat. In order to
repair this problem you will need to use a set of screws
and washers to make a more stable way for the heat sinks
to sit on the motherboard. This will effectively prevent
them from being thrown off
balance.
This specific
method has become known as the only
permanent way to fix Xbox 360 red
lights. The
3 Red Light Fix Repair Guide (above) is
one such guide that I would recommend using to
learn how to make this repair. It's safe, efficient,
easy, and actually very fast - generally takes
people about an hour to
do.
It is this
guides efficiency as well as the safety of using it
that makes the 3 Red Light Fix Repair Guide one
of the very best solutions available. If
you refuse to resort to the Manufacturer, like so many
people are doing nowadays, make sure to get this guide
and permanently repair your
console.
